The frame is stable in light to moderate wind conditions. For high-wind environments, we recommend securing the base feet with sandbags or tent pegs. The telescopic frame is not designed for severe wind exposure — in those conditions, a low-profile vinyl banner tied directly to a structure is safer.

PVC material is waterproof and durable, but it is reflective under direct flash photography and studio lighting. For professional photography in controlled indoor lighting, we recommend the non-reflective fabric finish of our media wall. For outdoor natural-light photography, this PVC backdrop performs very well.
